  • Media Mavericks: Revolutionising Streaming and Diversity

The second instalment of the Bristol Media and Entertainment Mixer brought together an expert panel to explore how the future of live experiences is evolving – as the lines continue to blur between traditional TV formats and entertainment shaped by social media.

In an age where user-generated content has gained enough momentum to challenge the foundations of Hollywood, the panel examined how companies can capitalise on the shift in content and advertising revenues toward emerging platforms outside the norms of traditional media.

  • Our headline panel featured experts Such as (Tanja Lichtensteiger) BBC, (Sophia Vahdati) Digital-I, (Nick Fellingham) Condense, and (Matt Stagg) MTech Sport.

Attendees discovered the latest trends in streaming experiences, interactivity, consumer demands, and the business and technical strategies redefining tomorrow's streaming landscape.

Before this, Sadie Groom from Rise led a lightning chat on diversity in media – addressing the urgent need for inclusion in the broadcast and entertainment industry.

  • Rise is a not-for-profit advocacy group for gender diversity within the broadcast manufacturing and services sector. It aims to create more opportunities for female broadcast professionals through quarterly networking events.
